PHASE ONE WEEK 1: THE BEGINNING

Welcome to my blog. My name is Omotoso Olaoluwasubomi. I am from Ekiti state in Nigeria which is inhabited by a tribe called the Yorubas. I am Yoruba. I was born on the 18th of August, 2001. I am 17 years old. I am a male. I was brought up in a Christian family by my mother and father along side with my brother and my sister. we are 5 in total in my nuclear family. I enjoy Nigerian food and also fast foods such as McDonalds, Wendys and Burger King. I speak English and Yoruba, which is one of the many languages in Nigeria. My favourite colour is Red and during my spare time I enjoy playing soccer, listening to music and taking short walks.

I have mixed opinions on the course project. I feel very scared because back home in Nigeria, I never did anything like this so it will be something very strange and very new to me and it will be very challenging to adapt to something new to me. I also feel very optimistic about the course because it will help me to learned things. For example, It will help me to learn how to use the Podcast app. It will also help me to learn how to add mp3 to my blog posts. it will also help in adding music or sound effects to my project which I didn’t know how to do. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for me and I can’t wait to see how my course project turns out to be.

One of the research tactics that undergraduate students use which is very limiting is the use of internet browsers like Google, Mozilla Firefox and others. Nowadays undergraduates rather just browse the internet rather than go out to look for credible sources of information. Most times what is on the internet tends to be fake news and these undergraduates just use this information rather than going out to gather their own or even testing the credibility of their source. In recent times most undergraduates go on the internet and and copy and paste topics given to them rather that going out to gather their own sources. They use the ideas, opinions, words and statements of other authors which is considered as an academic dishonesty known as PLAGIARISM which is not only frowned upon by me but also by every academic institution.
