Monetized Views

When a YouTuber authorizes to have advertisements before their videos this makes the video monetized. YouTube charges fees for this authorization and shares a percentage of the profit with the video maker. If someone watching the video has a program like ad-blocker that (it’s pretty self-explanatory) blocks ads, then their view is not monetized. This affects the amount of income the YouTuber will gain, meaning that they will not get anything from that view. But if someone doesn’t have a program like that then their view is monetized and the YouTuber gets percentage of the charged fees.
